Our olive trees, are healthy and have the right distance between them. They are grown on slopes in ideal soil conditions for the cultivation of olives. The fruits come exclusively from the olive groves of Thanopoulos family and not from large and massive crops of other olive groves. During the harvest, they are transported to the mill almost immediately.
The freshly squeezed extra virgin olive oil of Thanopoulos family «To Liostasi mou», is a product of early harvest and cold pressing in the mill. After minimal filtration, it is stored in airtight tanks that ensure its protection from oxygen, light and heat until it is bottled. This diligent care rewards us with a wonderful (superb) natural olive oil, high in phenols, which are what give olive oil its health benefits.
